Details:
We had a wonderful year connecting with God and each other in our Sunday School programs. As St. Cross moves to a single service time over the summer, we transition away from formal Sunday school and into a casual, community-led offering for children.

This Summer, we will guide children through the Apostles’ Creed, week by week, and make a collaborative piece of art together. Much of the time we spend together will be spent in free play – building puzzles, playing board games, drawing with chalk, playing with bubbles, and other simple activities that will build connection.

FAQ:

Can I drop my child off? Similar to Sunday School, you may leave your child at Faith & Flip Flops while you attend church, but you must remain on campus while your child is under our supervision.

What are the ages? Ages 3+. Children 3 and under or requiring diapering or potty held may opt to remain in the nursery. Teens who would like to remain in Parker Hall will be recruited to help lead activities.

Will my child join me in church? Yes, your child will come find you in church at 9:30am.

Who will be supervising my child? We will have one designated St. Cross representative present during Faith & Flip Flops. Additionally, we are seeking two parent volunteers each Sunday to remain with the children.

How can I volunteer? Please use this sheet to volunteer for a date to help make this program a success.
