The Prayer Shawl Ministry reaches out to our community with blessed shawls that offer comfort. We create each shawl by hand, beginning with prayers for the recipient and carrying those intentions through the entire shawl-making process.  The whole congregation joins in a prayer of blessing for the newly-finished shawls and their recipients.  A prayer shawl may be given to anyone who would benefit from a tangible representation of love, support, care and prayer.  

Most of our members knit or crochet, but prayer shawls can be made using any fiber art.  We welcome new members interested in this rewarding ministry.
