Middle & High School Youth Group

6th to 12th grade students
Our youth program for middle and high school students offers a welcoming, thoughtful space where young people can explore faith, identity, and purpose as they grow. Students meet in separate groups—Rite 13 for middle school and J2A (Journey to Adulthood) for high school. Each offers age-appropriate curriculum designed to encourage curiosity, reflection, and spiritual formation. Throughout the year they also come together for special events, building relationships across age groups and engaging with the wider parish community, such as hearing personal vocation stories from church members.
Beyond the classroom, our youth are invited to live out their faith through meaningful service, including supporting and serving at St. John’s Food Pantry, as well as preparing for an international pilgrimage experience that deepens their sense of community and connection to God. As they approach adulthood, we walk alongside them in discerning their own sense of vocation and purpose.
Youth in the high school program are invited to explore confirmation using the Confirm Not Conform curriculum, with the opportunity to be confirmed in the Episcopal Church if they choose. Whether or not they take that step, every young person is fully welcomed and valued. Wherever they are in their journey of faith, they are known, loved, and respected as an essential part of our community.
