11th & 12th grade students

Our youth confirmation program is offered to post-pilgrimage students. The curriculum we use, Confirm Not Conform, is built on the the following ideas:

-The Christian faith should withstand honest examination. 
-Formation is prioritized over mere information. 
-Questions are valued more than predefined answers.
-Youth are empowered to lead and teach. 

Importantly, the program respects each young person’s decision on whether or not to be confirmed, respecting their choice regardless of the outcome.

This curriculum offers our youth an opportunity to further explore and develop their faith, helping them to make adult decisions about their spiritual life. This shift away from the concept of “confirmation as conformity” supports the goal of fostering a genuine, inside-out relationship with God and the church.
