Growing Produce

St Cross has had a special relationship with the Hermosa Beach Garden since its founding. We maintain 18 plant beds, harvesting the produce for House of Yahweh, a South Bay food outreach program.

Dirt Peace – Creation Care for children and families

This family-focused creation care program invites families to participate in the planting, tending and harvesting of crops for House of Yahweh. Children and their families take on responsibilities as a way to respect and honor the Earth while learning about how food grows and how to steward the soil and resources God has made available to us.

We meet starting in October 2026:

Wednesdays at 9:30am, “parent & me” class for younger children
Every third Saturday of the month at 9:30am, “family play date” class for children of all ages

Volunteering – come get your hands busy and enjoy fellowship!

We meet the third Saturday of the month to tend the garden at 9:30am.
