St. Cross Covid Chronicles – Extended!
Ever wondered what everyday life was like during the 1918 Spanish Flu? The St. Cross History Committee wants parishioners facing the next pandemic to know how we lived during COVID-19. But we need you to provide YOUR memories—written and/or photographic–for our parish record.
Please contribute a sentence or a paragraph (150 words or less) and/or a picture about your life these past 15 months. We want to hear from everyone, including children.
Some ideas to get your creative juices flowing (but don’t limit yourself to these themes):
- What was the best, or worst, thing to happen to you?
- What did you learn about yourself, or your community?
- How was Zoom school, or meetings?
- What new hobby, or old passions, took over your time?
- What did you miss most, or least?
- If you had COVID, tell us about your experience.
Please leave your thoughts in the form on this page, and send photos to [email protected] (be sure to identify everyone in the picture in your email) as soon as possible. Please send all digital photographs “actual size”.
Have questions? Please contact: Patsy Brierley at [email protected] or Kathy Shinkle [email protected].
