4th of July, “Go Fund” Connor, Stations of St. Cross
Dear St. Cross,
First and foremost we wish you a safe and healthy Fourth of July. We know this holiday weekend will be different from any we have ever experienced. So PLEASE come to coffee hour decked out in your red, white, and blue — just don’t try to set off fireworks while on zoom please. The link for coffee hour is here and the password, if needed, is 641303. We pray that all of us are following the Governor’s and county public health official’s recommendations to not gather and to be sure you wear your mask when out (covering from your nose to your chin) and avoid any crowds. As many of you have asked me, we have had parishioners diagnosed, some with symptoms and some without.
Second, we hope you have contributed to Connor Wadhams’s Eagle Scout project. You can do so here. After months of delays and patience his project will take place next weekend. St. Cross is thankful to be a beneficiary.
Third — the buried lede for you newspaper folk — we will open the sanctuary this coming Tuesday and Thursday for a “Stations of St. Cross.” Please be on the lookout for an email dedicated to signing up and the required protocols that will need to be followed should you wish to come to attend the stations. That should come out on SATURDAY! You will sign up for a 15 minute slot to be in the church for prayer or to do the stations we have written, then you will have 15 minutes in the garth with one of the clergy, at an appropriate distance of course.
Peace,
Rachel+
