What does our In-gathering and Trunk-n-Treat have in common?
1) They are both joyful events!
2) They both support the community!
3) They are both happening this Sunday.
4) They are both examples of Grace in Action!!
By now you have hopefully received the three emails from the Stewardship team. The first included your pledge card for next year's pledge. We asked you to spend the next few weeks praying and in discussion with God and your family about what your are being called to pledge to help God's Grace in Action continue at St. Cross. Each letter had a personal story of God's Grace in Action from three different families in our parish. I hope you have read them and are inspired to pledge generously.
If you didn't get the letters, please let me know. We will have extra pledge cards on Sunday if you need them. Know you are welcome to wear your Halloween costume if you have one. Rev. Stephen will bless the costumes before we start the Trunk-n-Treat. It promises to be a fun Sunday for all of us.
