Vivaldi’s “Gloria” | June 9th, 4pm
One of the great joys of ministry at St. Cross is being able to celebrate the various talents and gifts that we share and offer them to our community. On June 9th, we get to share the wonderful gifts of our choir and music director, when they perform Vivaldi’s “Gloria.” We are all well acquainted with the enormous talent of the choir, that we are blessed to have lead us in worship every Sunday.
This concert performance is a time we get to boast and share their talent with our greater community. The choir will be performing Vivaldi’s “Gloria.” While it is one of Vivaldi’s sacred works, commissioned as part of the mass, it has garnered acclaim in the secular canon of classical music.
The performance will be exquisite. This is an incredible opportunity to enjoy the beauty and solace of this classical music, right here in our beautiful beachside sanctuary.
The performance will be a little less than an hour and there will be a reception following the concert.
