Our Next Steps in Return to In-Person Worship
Signups No Longer Required for In-Person Worship
We cannot thank you enough for your patience as we have returned to in person worship. Being able to take a few steps at a time has ensured that we have followed the many protocols, kept everyone safe, and everyone welcomed. This week we move into something new. To be sure, online services will be streamed every Sunday at 10am. Streaming is here to stay. Given the state, county and diocesan guidelines we can move into a new phase of worship inside our building. We ask that you continue to respect the wide variety of what an individual may need to feel safe as the pandemic comes to an end. This has been a long fifteen months. Continuing to extend grace helps us be our best selves.
The diocese has new guidelines for those who are vaccinated. However, we want to be as welcoming to those who have been unable to be vaccinated, especially our children. To that end we have made two sections in the church : the comfort section and the open section. Please carefully read the information below. The comfort section will be in the back one-third of the church. This is to ensure that air flow from those without masks and/or those singing doesn’t enter into the comfort section. The comfort section is for anyone who for any reason may have the need for more space and masks. The open section is exactly that, open without the need for masks. Reservations are no longer needed for Sunday services at this time.
Comfort Section:
- You need to wear a mask.
- You are ask to socially distance and respect the distance from those in this section.
- You may not sing.
- No physical touch.
Open Section- you must be vaccinated to sit in this section:
- You do not need to wear a mask
- You may sit where you choose.
- You may sing.
- While we are not requiring proof of vaccination, we expect and hope our church members will respect the vaccination requirement to sit in this section.
We look forward to seeing you on Sunday!

Looking for Volunteers
The office is looking for volunteers who have lovely handwriting. Pam Barnes was responsible for writing most of our certificates as her handwriting was lovely. If you might be able to help with occasionally filling in certificates for us, please let Trudy know by emailing her at [email protected].
