Addressing Gun Violence This Sunday, May 6: St. Cross will host a discussion of how to approach the issue of gun violence on Sunday, May 6. We will screen the documentary "Under the Gun" that day at 1:30 PM, and starting at 3:30 we will sit in small groups at tables where all will be encouraged to discuss their thoughts, reactions, ideas, etc. with others in the community. Light refreshments will be served starting at 4:15. More information here.
Karaoke Fundraiser on May 18: Get ready to sing, get ready to party! The Chancel Choir is hosting a fundraiser for the Capital Campaign on Friday, May 18, and it promises to be a good time! The Karaoke Fundraiser begins that evening at 8 PM. A $25 ticket gets you two beverages, hors d'ouvres, dessert and all the songs you can sing. We will also have items for raffle that night, with raffle tickets being sold at the event. Buy tickets today at this link!
Sundays in May: May 13 is Mother's Day! On this day, we will have a Mother's Day Activity instead of Sunday School during the eductation hour. Also, remember that the Day of Pentecost is May 20! Wear red and be ready to welcome the newly baptized.
